Industrial extension frame

New frame tied into an existing industrial building, erected in bays around a live yard.

Grey painted steel frame extension erected alongside an existing industrial building with bracing and temporary props

About this job

The extension was erected bay by bay so the yard stayed usable, with temporary propping and bracing kept in place until the roof steel was fixed and the frame was standing on its own.

Connections back into the existing building were checked on site before fabrication so the new steel landed where it was meant to.
