Steel frame extension alongside existing building

Frame erected hard against a live building, propped and braced as each bay was completed.

Grey painted steel portal frame extension with bracing erected alongside an existing building, with temporary props in place

About this job

The new frame ties in tight to the existing structure, so each bay was propped and braced before moving on to the next.

Working bay by bay kept the site usable while the extension went up, with the cladding rails following behind the frame.
