Galvanised floor joists, new build

Galvanised joists bolted off primed beams to form a full first floor deck on a new build.

Rows of galvanised steel floor joists bolted to red oxide beams across blockwork walls of a new build house

About this job

Main beams went in first, then the galvanised joists were bolted off cleats at the centres needed for the floor deck above.

Everything was checked for level as it went in, so the floor was flat before the deck was laid.
