Apex portal frame over blockwork

Painted apex frame with rafters, ties and columns, marked up in the workshop and erected in one visit.

About this job

Every member was marked in the workshop against the erection drawing, so the frame went together in the right order without head scratching on site.

Columns were set on prepared bases and packed to level before the rafters went on, then the whole frame was lined and bolted off ready for the roof.
